Celebrating a Decade at the Top!

North Nottinghamshire’s edge protection specialists, easi-edge have cause to celebrate as they reflect on their first ten years of preventing falls from height.

As a result of robust and effective edge protection solutions, coupled with superior customer service, easi-edge have protected thousands of workers throughout the past decade. The expert safety solutions provider have supplied miles and miles of orange barriers as far north as the Orkney Islands, and as far south as the Isle of Wight. From their first project in 2003, the pioneers of ground level installation have developed their business to become a market leading supplier of edge protection for structural steel frames. 

With an initial focus on solutions for the structural steel frame market, they have achieved many milestones throughout the years working closely with customers to develop their product offering. As an innovative company, easi-edge have introduced many safety solutions to protect workers throughout various stages of construction projects.These innovations include a double gated lift shaft solution to prevent falls and a loading bay barrier providing constant protection whilst unloading materials at height.

In 2009, easi-edge launched their structural timber frame solution in partnership with Kier Eastern, on the flagship project ‘The Open Academy’ in Norwich. Kier concluded, “easi-edge is faster to install and more versatile than traditional scaffolding edge protection.”

The market leading firm are founding members of the Edge Protection Federation (EPF) formed in 2009, and they remain the only edge protection provider to be accredited under the Steel Construction Sustainability Charter, demonstrating their commitment to the environment. Additionally, as advocates of health and safety, the successful firm have been accredited to the health and safety accreditation BS OHSAS 18001 which highlights the requirements for occupational health and safety management best practice.
